In Los Angeles werden vrijdagavond de genomineerden voor de 65 editie van de Grammy Awards bekendgemaakt. Rapper Jay Z maakt kans om een record te breken, hij werd negen keer genomineerd.

Als hij in alle categorieën wint, kan Jay Z het record van Michaël Jackson breken, die in 1984 acht Grammy's won. Andere genomineerden zijn onder meer Justin Timberlake, Justin Timberlake, Lorde, Pink, Pharrell, Daft Punk en Bruno Mars. De uitreiking van de Grammy's is op 26 januari.
